The Federal Communications Commission, i. e. FCC has certified the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ with model numbers SM-S911B and SM-S916B, respectively. We already know that these are the European versions, as the US versions will have the suffix “U” in place of “B” in their model numbers. First spotted by MySmartPrice, both devices are listed on the FCC website with dual-SIM support. Additionally, we can also see the battery capacity, charging speed, and a few more key specs of the phones....

The source of this info states that Samsung hasn’t locked “2,200 nits” as the official rating for peak display brightness on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The device is still in development and may see more performance optimizations in the coming weeks. But they claim the maximum brightness of the new Galaxy flagship’s screen will be more than 2,100 nits. It could top 2,200 nits as well. Either way, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have the brightest smartphone screen when it arrives early next year....

The Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy Tab A8 comes with firmware version X205XXU1BVI6 in Europe. The tablet is picking up the September security patch with this release. German publication WinFuture has revealed detailed specs of the upcoming Samsung smartwatch days before its unveiling. According to the new report, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will boast a battery life of a staggering 80 hours. That’s more than three days of runtime on a single charge, which is rare for a full-fledged smartwatch. The report mentions a 590mAh battery on the device. That’s slightly more than what we have been hearing all along (572mAh)....

The December SMR is currently rolling out to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in Asia and Australia. The updated firmware version for the latest clamshell foldable to come out through Samsung’s doors is F721BXXS1BVKC. This release doesn’t bring any new features or improvements to the device, which isn’t surprising since it comes right on the heels of the Android 13 update. It’s all about the latest vulnerability fixes. The Korean firm should soon expand this release to other regions, including the US....
