It noticed that customers want to personalize their phones in line with their lifestyles. So the company wanted to give Galaxy users “ultimate personalization” with this update. It has added several new wallpaper choices, more Color Palette options, new clock styles, and more to One UI 5....

This practice went on for six years from January 2013 through December 2018. During this period, Samsung influenced the sales prices of at least seven online retailers. The Dutch watchdog has imposed a fine of more than €39 million on the company. “Under the guise of ‘price advice’, Samsung made sure that the retailers raised their prices to the market price desired by Samsung,” ACM Chairman Martijn Snoep said in a statement....

Both Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 come with an IPX8 rating for water resistance. Meaning, they can survive under 1.5m deep water for up to 30 minutes. In day-to-day use, the phones should withstand splashes of fresh water, a few minutes under the rain, or an accidental drop in the water. This is the first time for a foldable smartphone to feature an official IP (ingress protection) rating for water resistance....

All of these devices have been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance running Android 13. The Galaxy A03s received the certification last week, while the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Galaxy A22 5G joined it earlier this week (via). These certifications mean Samsung is working on Android 13 for the devices. It doesn’t necessarily indicate a nearing public release, though. We might still be a month or two away from the official release of the new Android version for the trio....
