Starting with the layoffs, reports suggest Twitter will get rid of half its workforce globally. That’s almost 4,000 job cuts at once. Some Twitter employees have already filed a class-action lawsuit against the company alleging a violation of the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN). The Act requires large companies to notify employees at least 60 days in advance before mass layoffs.
