As of this writing, the latest SMR (security maintenance release) is available to Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ users in Switzerland, SamMobile has confirmed. The OTA (over the air) update should soon reach more countries in Europe as well as other regions. The new firmware version will be N975FXXS7GVB1 or something along that line. According to Samsung’s official security bulletin, the February 2022 SMR contains fixes for more than 60 vulnerabilities....

For the main four Galaxy S10 models, the latest security patch is currently rolling out to the carrier-locked variants on T-Mobile’s network in the US. Unlocked counterparts should soon join the party too. The update should also soon reach both carrier-locked and unlocked units on other networks. According to SamMobile, who first reported this rollout, the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ are receiving this update with firmware version G97xUSQS6HVA1....

Google’s visitor sharing feature already makes it safe to share Drive files with people without Google accounts. You get a secure pincode-based collaboration platform that allows non-Google users to view, comment on, or edit content. This ability is also available with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Sites, i. e. pretty much all of the company’s Workspace productivity suite. However, Google doesn’t allow non-Google users to upload files or create new content within shared drives....

As Google explains, Speaker labels are an optional Recorder feature that, if enabled, will “automatically detect and label each speaker when recording”. Speakers are identified in real time with the app automatically starting a new line within your transcripts on each speaker switch. The labels appear as Speaker 1, Speaker 2, etc. in the transcript. They are color-coded to make it easy to distinguish between multiple speakers. You can also edit and change the name of each speaker in a recording....

According to the tweet, the Google Clock app will be getting a notable update pretty soon that will add some nice functionality to the app. The most notable new feature will be the ability to schedule alarms. When you set an alarm now, it’s set to either go off that day or on a certain day in the week that you indicate. However, there was never the option to set an alarm for a specific date later in the month....
