According to the aforementioned retail listings, the new Galaxy S21 FE will switch to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G processor. That’s a downgrade from the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 found on the existing model. Samsung may be looking to make an even cheaper Galaxy flagship with 4G (LTE) cellular connectivity. But there are also rumors of it supporting 5G. We shall find out soon. Apart from the less powerful processor, not much else changes on the new Galaxy S21 FE, though....

For starters, the Galaxy Tab S8 FE will feature MediaTek’s MT8791V processor, Geekbench confirms. It’s the 6nm Kompanio 900T chipset launched in September last year. The SoC is primarily built for tablets and Chromebooks. It has two ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at 2.60GHz for demanding tasks and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2.00GHz. MediaTek has paired the CPU with a Mali-G68 GPU. The chipset supports LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3....

As of this writing, the July SMR (Security Maintenance Release) for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rolling out to unlocked units in the US (model number SM-F926U1). The new firmware version for the phone is F926U1UES1DVEG. The OTA (over the air) rollout is available on most carrier networks, including T-Mobile, AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, C-Spire, and others, with more joining soon. This update should reach the carrier-locked units (SM-F926U) of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 within a few days....
