The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is available in a host of Asian and European countries. Users in South Korea are getting the update with firmware version T225NKOU1CVL5, while that for the other regions is T225XXU1CVL5 (via). The package comes bundled with the November security patch, which is a month old now but still patches a good number of vulnerabilities. Samsung should soon expand this release to other markets, such as Africa....

As of this writing, the original Galaxy Z Flip is receiving Android 13 in Europe. The rollout has begun in Italy, with the handset picking up the firmware version F700FXXUAIVK3 (via). Samsung should soon cover all eligible units in the region, and also update the foldable in other markets, including the US. This update contains plenty of goodies for the Galaxy Z Flip. One UI 5.0 brings the best of Google’s Android 13 software with Samsung’s customizations and add-ons on top....

According to the new report, the new processor bears the model number S5P9865 and is codenamed “Zuma”. Samsung is testing it on a developer board with the code name “Ripcurrent”. The latter suggests it isn’t the Tensor 2 chipset that will power the Pixel 7 series. The Tensor 2 is developed on a board codenamed “Cloudripper”. This points to the Zuma being the third-gen Tensor processor from Samsung, possibly for the Pixel 8 series next year....
