Samsung announced this partnership at its Samsung Developer Conference 2022 in San Francisco today. According to the Korea JoongAng Daily, a Samsung employee may have taken photographs of confidential information related to the company’s chip fabrication processes. The said employee is reportedly leaving the Korean behemoth soon and was working from home on the day of the alleged theft. Since the security system doesn’t allow employees to take screenshots of any confidential information on computer screens, the person used a smartphone to take photographs of it....

Samsung’s earnings report doesn’t break down the sales volume of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 phones. However, the company states that the latest flagships brought “significant revenue growth” from their predecessors a year earlier. This either means the new phones have sold in more quantity or buyers are preferring the expensive models (Plus and Ultra) over the vanilla Galaxy S22. Either way, Samsung seems to be pleased with the sales of its 2022 flagships....

Samsung makes its own AMOLED displays for smartphones and arguably does the best job at it. The company also makes other types of displays. But, at the same time, it also sources a large chunk of its display requirements from firms like BOE. The Chinese company has been one of its key suppliers of LCD panels for TVs for the past several years. Samsung also used BOE’s OLED panels on some of its budget and mid-range Galaxy smartphones....

The updated app also lists more devices in each row. If you’re surrounded by several Galaxy users with Quick Share turned on, this change will make or less scrolling. The app will fit more devices on the screen. Samsung says it has improved icon color devices as well, which should add to the app’s aesthetics.
