It is reported that Google didn’t even supply Pixels before most of these ads were recorded. It is mentioned that iHeartMedia and 11 other radio networks ran Pixel 4 ads in ten large markets....

Google and Citigroup (the bank that was working with Google for these bank accounts) have confirmed this report. So it is true that this is killed. A Google spokesperson stated that they are shifting focus to “delivering digital enablement for banks and other financial services providers rather than us serving as the provider of these services.” Citigroup confirmed that around 10,000 people were joining the waitlist each week, and that it had over 400,000 people on the waitlist....

In case you didn’t know, Google just announced the Pixel Watch and it gave us some more information on the Pixel Tablet. Before those, the company unveiled the upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. This new functionality in the voice recorder is an exclusive feature for that phone. Google showcased the speech dictation prowess of Tensor with the Pixel 6. The first-generation chip is capable of on-device speech recognition and it was one of the defining features of the phone....

Google however is not using Qualcomm chips in its two upcoming devices. Instead, both phones are powered by the company’s in-house computing hardware. Tensor. While this timing doesn’t really extend to all Android phones, it does at least a couple of things. One, it means Google has what could be considered a pretty big advantage over other devices on the Android platform. And two, it could force things to change for the ecosystem....
