The June SMR (Security Maintenance Release) for the first-gen Fold is available on all carrier networks in the US. We don’t have a changelog handy to confirm the contents, but the build number for the new OTA (over the air) package suggests the device is getting more than just the vulnerability fixes for the current month. These devices have been subject to multiple leaks recently. We have seen them in several certification and benchmark listings as well. Each of those appearances revealed something or the other about the unannounced Galaxy smartphones. Today, we have confirmation of their rear camera setups. Starting with the Galaxy A73 5G, Samsung is said to be equipping this phone with a 108-megapixel primary camera at the back. According to the earnings, Peacock now has 24.5 million monthly active users. Comcast went on to say that “within these 24.5M MAA’s are over 9 million paid subscribers.” That means a little more than a third of those that subscribe to Peacock are actually paying for the service. That’s good news for Comcast, even though it does give Peacock for free to its customers as well as Cox customers. About 7 million are from Xfinity and other top distributors, who get Peacock Premium for no extra cost....
LG Innotek says this could reduce the size of the dreaded camera bump that is customarily present on smartphones with a big and complex camera array. Generally, the ones that have the telephoto lens alongside the other sensors. LG is claiming this to be a world’s first, which should help it be the camera sensor of choice for more smartphone manufacturers this year. In fact LG Innotek already seems to have some brands lined up....
The May SMR (Security Maintenance Release) for the Galaxy Fold is currently rolling out to users in the US as well as numerous Latin American markets, including Brazil, Colombia, and Panama, SamMobile has confirmed. The updated firmware version for the foldable is F900U1UES6HVD2 in the US and F900FXXS6HVD1 in Latin America. The Galaxy Z Flip, on the other hand, is only getting the update in Latin America as of now. The new software package for the original clamshell foldable comes with build number F700FXXS8GVD8 in the region....
