The Exynos 2200 will reportedly deliver up to 20 percent improvement in sustained GPU performance over its predecessor. The peak graphics performance will improve by 31-34 percent. The new chipset will also reportedly offer a big boost in 3DMark performance (Wild Life) over the outgoing Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. Note that these benchmark results are based on pre-release hardware and software. So the numbers could change slightly over time. Of course, the Exynos 2200 will battle against Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 898 MediaTek’s Dimensity 2000, so these numbers don’t tell where it sits in this competition....

There always comes a time, where you have to let go of the old smartphones to embrace the new ones. In line with this, Samsung has demoted several Galaxy A series phones on their update schedule. Notably, Samsung maintains decent transparency when it comes to updates. After several years of support, multiple Galaxy A series phones have been brought down from quarterly update schedules to biannual. What does this mean? Well, instead of receiving four firmware updates in a year, these Galaxy A series devices will receive only two updates in a year from now on....
