An official moderator on Samsung’s community forums in South Korea, who is in charge of camera-related stuff, has revealed that the Expert RAW app will leave the beta phase and hit the stable channel on February 25. On the same day, it will also roll out to other devices. The Samsung representative did not explicitly mention which Galaxy models will support the Expert RAW app. However, they suggested the app will be available to most flagship models launched in 2020 or later....

The leak comes courtesy of Ice Universe on Twitter. Despite the new name, the internal codename for the chip is still SM8450, as per recent reports. Since this is only a rumor at this point, we recommend taking this with a grain of salt. It’s unclear if this name change would apply to Qualcomm’s mid-range and budget CPUs. Perhaps the chip maker wants to effectively differentiate between its mid-tier and high-end SoCs in the market....
