Over the years, Google has added, as well as removed, certain features from its Gboard app. In a recent development, as per a report by 9to5Google, the company has confirmed it will be scrapping one feature from Gboard. Notably, Google is planning to scrap the Bitmoji-like ‘Minis’ custom stickers from Gboard. Moreover, this removal process will happen in a not so distant future. FYI, the Minis stickers feature was introduced by Google for Gboard back in 2018....

Google recently shared a preview of the upcoming Maps widget. It’s a rounded square that shows a map of your nearby location. Your current location is marked by a blue dot at the center. According to a 9to5Google report, which compiles user complaints across various online forums such as Reddit and Google’s official support forums, the Google Maps app on Wear OS 3-powered smartwatch is asking users to enter their home and work addresses every time they try to use the shortcuts. That’s despite them already having the addresses saved on their phone. And when they follow the instructions and try saving the addresses again, they can’t do that either....
