According to a handful of customers on the Roku forums (via), the most recent Roku update may have caused this issue. Users claim that playback can freeze every few minutes or even with a shorter frequency. The issue seemingly affects users of Roku-branded televisions from the likes of Hisense and TCL, as well as Roku players. Google or Roku haven’t offered any information on this new bug, so there’s still some mystery about the cause....
The new Ring Spotlight Cam Pro comes with 3D motion detection now. This is thanks to including radar in the cameras now. Ring is able to measure the distance and angle of an object moving in front of the camera. Customers will be able to set a threshold of when you want your camera to start detecting motion. Similar to how it works now without 3D motion. Ring says that by adding 3D motion it is able to refine its alerts and making them more accurate....

The new report doesn’t shed any light on the technical details of the upcoming ultra-high-resolution image sensor from the Korean behemoth. So it’s not quite clear whether it will have the same 1/1.22-inch footprint as its predecessor or it will be larger. It certainly can’t get any smaller though. The first-gen version already has tiny 0.64μm-sized pixels. Fitting 200 million pixels in an even smaller sensor would further reduce the pixel size, which may affect image quality....
