The LTE variant of the Galaxy S20 FE is currently receiving the new SMR (Security Maintenance Release) in Russia. The updated firmware version for the phone is G780FXXU9DVE7. The rollout should reach more markets in the coming days. The Galaxy S20 FE 5G, meanwhile, is already picking up the June SMR widely. Rolling out with firmware version G781BXXU4FVE8, the latest update is available to users in pretty much the whole of Europe, including the UK and the Baltic region....

According to the official changelog, the Galaxy Buds Pro is getting some improvements to the battery charging algorithm and stability. This likely doesn’t change anything for the users. Additionally, we also have the generic system stability and reliability improvements as part of this update. The new software package should be available to users globally within a few days....

According to the new report, OnePlus will start with the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 in India in February. The phone has been frequently appearing in leaks lately and we were already expecting it to break cover soon. Based on the leaked info, it’s a decent mid-range smartphone in the making. Highlights of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 include a 90Hz AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast wired charging, a 64-megapixel triple camera setup, and 5G cellular connectivity....

For starters, the Galaxy A24 is said to be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7904 chipset. It is an outdated 14nm processor and is much older than the 6nm Snapdragon 680G found inside the Galaxy A23. Such a massive downgrade doesn’t make any sense. The rumored 6GB RAM and 64GB storage may still be fathomable, but a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging in a 2023 Galaxy mid-ranger doesn’t fit correctly....

There is one app though, that Microsoft intentionally wants you to use, i.e. Microsoft Edge.
