Samsung released the Android 13 update for the Galaxy A71 in Europe a couple of weeks ago. It came with the October SMR (Security Maintenance Release). The big Android update is now available widely, including in Asia, and the wider release also brings a newer security patch. It may not be the December SMR yet, but users in Asia are getting the November security release. Last month’s SMR patches more than 60 vulnerabilities in Galaxy devices....

One UI 4 is the latest version of Samsung UI, which the company revealed in a new promo video. Samsung devices will receive this version in the coming months. One UI 4 will have some new cool features and improvements, and one of them is letting users set a wallpaper directly from the Google Photos app. Allowing the ability to choose your favorite wallpaper from Google Photos was one of the most frequent requests by customers....

The leak comes courtesy of Ice Universe on Twitter. Despite the new name, the internal codename for the chip is still SM8450, as per recent reports. Since this is only a rumor at this point, we recommend taking this with a grain of salt. It’s unclear if this name change would apply to Qualcomm’s mid-range and budget CPUs. Perhaps the chip maker wants to effectively differentiate between its mid-tier and high-end SoCs in the market....

Basically, these Alienware Desktops are too power hungry to be sold in these locations, hence the sales ban. The states where Dell will no longer sell these desktops are California, Oregon, Colorado, Hawaii, Vermont, and Washington. While it would technically be possible to buy these PCs in states where the ban isn’t imposed, that isn’t really a viable solution for most people. Because it would require driving to pick up the hardware and then driving it back....

Spotted by Protocol, Sonos is hiring a “Head of Partnerships, Home Theatre” who will “play a pivotal role in connecting users to the content and services they love with Sonos quality experiences they’ve come to expect”. The company will prefer people with demonstrated experience in “home theater or home entertainment domain.” The audio biggie also has a job opening for a “UX Lead- Next Generation Home Theater Experience” who will be responsible for “defining and evolving the Next Generation Home Theater experience” at the company....
