In a series of tweets posted shortly after the iPhone 14 launch last week, Samsung took a dig at its arch-rival with a few fun facts about its Galaxy devices. “What the Flip, Apple?” the first tweet says, adding that Samsung has been “flexing for two years, five months, and 20 days”. That’s a reference to its first Flip series foldable. The tweet also features the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The second tweet highlights the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and contains the same jibe at Apple....

Today Samsung is officially announcing this beast, a gargantuan gaming monitor with a 57-inch 8K display. In the grand scheme of things, this isn’t the largest display Samsung makes. But it’s not the overall size that makes this such an exciting reveal. It’s the fact that this is a gaming monitor at this size. Once again, Samsung is launching the world’s largest gaming monitor. That title was previously held by Samsung Odyssey Ark launched in 2021....

This doesn’t come as a surprise either. Samsung went this route last year itself, shipping the Galaxy S21 series with Google Messages as the default SMS app. However, that was limited to international markets including Europe. The company is now bringing the US to the fold as well. As said earlier, Google Messages in Samsung’s Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 phones feature a different UI than the app you see in other devices such as Google’s Pixel series....

The Roku Streaming Stick is a really great streaming stick for those that are thinking about cutting the cord. Particularly since it does support up to 4K HDR and Dolby Vision for great image quality. Roku has support for almost every app out there. This includes ESPN+, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Google Play Movies & TV, YouTube, YouTube TV, HBO GO (not HBO MAX, yet. But that is expected very soon) and much more....

It’s a decent upgrade over last year’s Galaxy Watch 4 for two main reasons. One, it has better performance thanks to the more optimized software. And two, it has longer battery life and charges up faster. In fact the battery life and faster charging is the more important of two improvements. Because now you won’t have to worry as much about the possibility of the watch dying on you before you get home....
