The Galaxy S20 FE is currently picking up the July security update in Asia and Europe. The LTE model sold in Asian countries is receiving the new SMR (Security Maintenance Release) with firmware version G780GXXS3CVF3. That for the European 5G model bears the firmware version G781BXXS4FVF3. The device should soon get the update in other markets too, including the US. The latest update for the Galaxy A53, meanwhile, is first rolling out in Samsung’s home country South Korea....

As per screenshots accessed by Android Police, there are a handful of changes coming to this often-used feature. In case you’re unaware, the output picker lets you choose where the audio plays from (phone speaker, Bluetooth earbuds, and so on). While the current output picker on Android 12 is somewhat bulky, the upcoming iteration appears to use a more compact window. Although the output picker doesn’t appear among the media controls in these screenshots, the option reportedly exists....

As you can see in the images below (and above), the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro features a familiar rugged design as past XCover series phones. On the front, we have a notched display with wide bezels all around. There’s also a raised bump around the display to protect the front glass in case of a fall. The edges have grooves for a tighter grip as well as shock absorption. The back panel also features less-prominent grooves to help with gripping....
